AFD Transfer Molding Process

The basis of our work (video on the right) is a simple transfer molding process. Based on parts- or project specific requirements we will adapt this basic process to enable the production of high quality parts at reasonable cost. Starting from a specification that describes the components function, target quantities, target cost, etc. design details of the product are defined, materials are selected, a lining process is simulated and machining cost calculated. It all starts with thorough engineering, before any machining on the molding tools is done. We finish our process with the mass production at ongoing quality control. This complex process can only be conducted in good cooperation to success.
